· I am responsible for designing daily learning activities that engage my students and meet state standards.
· I am also responsible for the safety and direction of thirty cheerleaders. In addition, I manage ordering of uniforms and other supplies, supervise the girls at events and camp, and maintain positive relationships with their parents.
Fall 2006: Intern at Henry Ford II High School, Utica, MI
· I worked with mentor teachers in biology and physical science.
· I developed daily lessons and conducted class.
· I was also responsible for grading and classroom management.
Spring 2006: Intern at Stevenson High School, Utica, MI
· I worked with a mentor teacher in both biology and chemistry and taught classes. I was responsible for preparing class activities, grading, and overseeing classroom management.
· I was also advisor for the recycling club.

· I participated in the after school tutoring program for various ages in various subjects for three hours, two days a week.

2007: Club Gymnastics Coach:
· I was responsible for organizing activities at practice, choreographing routines, spotting skills, interacting with parents.
2006: Assistant High School Gymnastics Coach:
· I was responsible for running practices, interacting with athletes and parents, and ensuring the safety of the athletes
Scientific Experience:
2002-2004: Veterinary Assistant
· I worked in a pathology laboratory at a veterinary clinic. I learned how to run and interpret laboratory tests and was able to apply my biology training to my work.
Personal Interests:
· I enjoy athletic activities. I participated in high school cheerleading, gymnastics, and track as well as club gymnastics. I now coach cheerleading at the high school where I teach.
· I enjoy outdoor activities, and I volunteer for the DNR rehabilitating injured and orphaned animals.
